Bill Hart, the owner and president of Hart & Hart, Inc., has 25+ years experience in the construction industry. Bill started right here in the Roanoke Valley during the summers of high school building fences and gaurdrail for Powers Fence and Guardrail. Since then Bill has been a part of projects ranging from high rise office buildings, oil refineries, chemical pipelines, petroleum research labratories, and schools. While working in the petroleum industry in south Texas Bill recieved a bachelors degree in History from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi.
In the early 1990's Bill moved to Charlotte, NC, during the initial boom of one of the most dynamic residential markets in the country. During his time in the Charlotte, Bill moved into the residential market and worked for one of the nation's largest home builders, Centex Homes. Later, Bill moved into the luxury home market with HHZ Inc., as one of two Project Managers responsible for $8,000,000.00 of residential inventory at any given time. Before Bill and his wife Laurie decided to move back to the Roanoke Valley to raise their son, Bill had his own custom home firm and in total had built over 200 homes ranging from $150,000.00 to $2,000,000.00 during the 10 years he and Laurie lived in Charlotte.
Not only does Bill have proven management experience he also has a great deal of hands on experience. He has personally framed several homes, built cabinets, furniture, set tile, painted, excavated, and drywalled. In short Bill has earned his experience and knowledge honestly through hard work and time.
